The fourth biennial A Divine Run, 5k Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, July 28, 2012, at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, KS. A Divine Run, 5K Run/Walk raises money to support SIDS Resources, Inc, which provides support for bereaved families and education for safe infant care practices.

In 2010, we had 700 participants and raised over $17,000 for SIDS Resources, Inc. Please join us for a fun event to support a great cause.

Devon’s Story

Devon Hance had a completely healthy four-month-old checkup in late November. Exactly one week later, he was found dead in his crib. The cause of death was determined to be Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Perhaps every parent’s worst nightmare is to put a healthy baby down to sleep and to discover he has died unexpectedly.

Approximately 2,500 babies die annually
in the United States from SIDS.

In the Kansas City metropolitan area, 30-35 infants die each year from SIDS.
